„The Child Abduction Act 1984 stipulates : “ a person connected with a child under the age of sixteen commits an offence if he takes or sends the child out of the United Kingdom, without the appropriate consent „.

 

An Act to amend the criminal law relating to the abduction of children: Child Abduction Act 1984.

The purpose of this Convention is: (a) to secure the prompt return of children wrongfully removed or retained in any signatory state (b) effectively enforce in the other signatory states the rights of custody and visitation existing state who are signatories to the Convention.
